∘ Lilli is the heart breaking story of a little girl who has come back to life through her doll to say goodbye to her family
∘ Lilli was a Texas A&M Summer Industry Course Short during 2022 by a team of 6 students.
∘ The ten-week long Summer Animation Project was overseen by DreamWorks Animation Studio Mentors.
∘ Throughout the Project, I was responsible for Houdini tool development, character look dev, CFX, and pipeline/rendering management, and compositing

//Fullbody Turn

∘ In order to achieve Lilli's unique tactile look a 3D instancing tool set was developed to convert all input GEO into Curves which mirror physical threads
∘ The end result allowed for high fidelity results and physical based light interactions due to the materials structural nature

∘ The tools used to created Lilli were designed with artists needs in mind
∘ Achieving the graphic shapes of the various materials of the skin, hair, eye lashes, and nose were made possible using the same tool set

∘ The various stages of the Lilli Character: Concept Art and Models done by Maleah Miller
∘ UV's perfected in Roadkill: UV flow is mirrored in final weave direction
∘ Hair and Face Curves extracted and adjusted in Maya for use in Houdini Systems for final character Look Development
